The beautiful village of Gandria stretches out on one side of the lake, on the other side of the lake are the Cantine di Gandria where you can enjoy classic delicacies of local Ticino cuisine in their original recipes or revisited by the chefs. Polenta and cheese, luganighetta and potatoes, beef ossobucco with polenta, Ticino cheese and charcuterie board. This tour can be booked with two variations 1. Gandria Food Tour lunch or dinner and history of typical Ticino cuisine. The tour costs 109.- CHF Swiss francs for up to 6 people, then each additional person 15.- CHF Swiss Francs 2. Gandria classical tour village and Gandria Food Tour with the history of typical Ticino cuisine at Cantine di Gandria. The tour costs 169.- Swiss Francs CHF for up to 6 people and then 15 CHF for each additional person Please note this tour prices DO NOT INCLUDE boat ticket and food cost. Gandria Cruise Tour
Gandria Cruise Tours lasted 75 minutes. The cruise through the gulf of Lake Lugano before taking to Gandria. During the cruise time you will discover fascinating stories about the city Lugano, Gandria and the other villages seen from the boat. The Swiss-Italian border across the lake and nearby mountains , there was a thriving smuggling market during World War II. From the lake we will see the building that houses the Swiss Customs Museum.
